The Man who Fell to Earth (Showtime)

Sequel to the 70's movie by the same name starring David Bowie, about an alien who comes to Earth seeking a way to save his home planet.
Pretty good, with some recognizable actors.
Chiwitel Ejiofore ( Serenity, Dr. Strange)
Kate Mulgrew - (ST Voyager, Warehouse 13 )
Zoe Wannamaker ( Harry Potter )
William Nighy - (Underworld, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.. )
Jimmi Simpson - (Westworld)
There are some recognizable themes (man destroying the planet, yadda yadda ) but it's cleverly done and doesn't dwell on tired old tropes.

We watched the first three episodes for free last week. It was good. Considering getting a 7-day free trial to finish it off.

That’s exactly what I did. $10.99 is a bit pricey considering I don’t really watch much on Showtime. There may be a couple of other shows I watch, but even so it’s probably worth a months subscription. I plowed through it fairly quickly so I still have several days to decide.
