Jim: The James Foley Story 6/10
I thought it was a very balanced account. I thought the brother being pissed at him for putting himself back in that situation said a lot.

The Martian 6/10
Really interesting movie with much better scientific basis than Gravity, which was space for retards. Damon did a great job. The credits Montage was turrble, though.

The Force Awakens 7/10
So much fun. I'm calling bullshite on Kylo Ren surviving, though.

Ant-Man 5/10
Ruud was solid with the personality of the character, but the story just fell a bit flat.

The Good Dinosaur 5/10
Story was mediocre. Character design was terrible. Backdrops were unparalleled.

Spectre - 6/10 There are certainly worse Bond movies (Quantum), but this one just wasn't as epic as I wanted it to be with the return of Blofeld and Spectre. I did think tying up some loose ends was cool and I still like Craig as Bond, but they could have done better here.

The Big Short - 8.5/10 Loved it, I generally like movies about the 2008 financial crisis and this easily jumped to my favorite of those. I like the style used to convey some complex subject matter and there were some great performances from the cast unsurprisingly.

Creed - 8/10 Much better than I was anticipating and I like the direction they went with hearkening back to the original and the lineage of Apollo. Stallone put on his best performance in ages. I put it as third among the Rocky films.

The Revenent - 7/10 Decent movie, good performances by Leo & Hardy. Cinematography is among the best I have seen in a film. Some of those views were jawdropping

Mad Max: Fury Road - 4/10 Maybe it was due to not seeing it theaters, but I just don't get the hype. The action scenes and cinematography are cool, but there was just no substance imo and the ending felt rushed.

The Force Awakens - 8.5/10 Welcome back Star Wars! I loved this one. Did it have flaws? Of course, so does any movie and this one was always going to be magnified in scrutiny. I like the older and more realistic feel to this one and I am really excited to see where they go from here. Bring on Episode VIII.

Looks like I'll be getting a snowy weekend, so I'm planning on checking out Spotlight, Sicario, and of course Deadpool

The National Parks - America's Best Idea.

(I would put it 1b to 1a with The Civil War)

30 for 30: Once Brothers ( GOAT 30 for 30)
Straight Outta Compton (Didn't believe it was going to be better than 8 Mile but it was)
30 for 30: The 85 Bears ( I've watched a few 85 Bears documentaries, this one did a great job with the characters and Buddy Ryan's impact)
Jurassic Park( The female lead is an awful actress lol)
The Aviator ( First time watching it, classic Leo)
8 mile ( now the 2nd best rap movie of all time )
