The Playstation Store has it on sale early. SD for $14.99 and HD/SD for $19.99. Is it worth getting or should i wait to rent it off vudu tuesday?

Everyone SHOULD have known going into it that it was going to be your basic survival/depressing/drawn out/endurance film. The only problems I had with this movie were the bogus CGI wolves and that cliff jumping scene. They decide to jump of a huge fricking cliff with some rope/bed sheets they miraculously found in ten seconds. Really?!

My review:
I took note of three things:
The tree fetish: This was really what the movie was about, an illicit love affair with a suicidal character and hard cold shrubbery. The main character had an odd obsession with trees. He kept talking about the trees this and the trees that. Then at one very important juncture standing by a cliff everyone is at a loss for words and his line was..."look at those trees!" Our whole row lost it
How Liam Neeson was always wrong: The dude went full tard and led them directly toward the den. Where would you think a wolf pack's den is going to be? In the middle of the snow or in the TREES? Unfortunately ole' Liam loved him some trees. Also, he said they would only last 3 days but they lasted ~4 days running around the trees with limited supplies. Why not fortify the fuselage, use the plane's fuel for a fire, take the other wreckage and make a fort that traps the wolves in one path, take them out and eat them.
The river: Why did they have to cross the ravine? Why not just follow the cliff above the river using the cliff as a way to protect against the wolves. Just. keep. walking. Okay, so they succumb to tree love and cross the ravine. When they get to the river, why not just build a raft with all those logs and ride down the river. "I can't walk 50 more feet" should have been met with "well...can you ride a boat made of wood" but alas, wood comes from trees and Liam wasn't about to kill trees and defile his lovers.

I wouldn't buy it but I thought it was a pretty interesting movie.

I did have a problem with this.
Hey there are dead bodies everywhere for them to feed on, but the wolves decided to chest bump and eat the living human instead. WTF?
