FWIW, if anyone ever plays tabletop RPGs, one of the rulebooks for Pendragon goes into interesting (but exhaustive) dissertations on how Arthurian legend has changed through the years and why and what society was saying for why these changes were made. How courtly love is a perfect example. Lancelot at times I showcased as a villain but at times as a hero and those fit into specific timelines of what courtly love is supposed to represent.

Also, Morgana LeFey is not always a villain. Sometimes she’s a villain who redeems herself. Sometimes she’s just an odd duck doing weird stuff and gets along with people

This trailer had me so insanely hyped tho, the movie I felt was nothing like it.
