The Glass Onion (A Knives Out mystery) SPOILER FREE(for now)

Saw this last night in theaters, and man, between Confess, Fletch and this one, Hollywood needs more films like these in theaters.
Craig is still enjoying this character.
The premise takes place during the lockdown, and after you’ve been through the looking glass, it’s quite satirical. Rich people hiding out on a private island, from all sides of the political spectrum. There’s the obvious Musk character. Which lefty critics will jump over themselves to shite on in their reviews.
But Janelle Monáe…she was great. Say what you will about Rian Johnson, but he knows how to film beautiful women.
The script almost mocks the idea of the movie, through Blanc’s explanations.
I throughly enjoyed it, not quite as good as Knives Out, but still very enjoyable.
I think they have one more film in development in this series.

Nice review. I’ll have to check it out.
I liked the first one, especially once I understood the tone of the film. I couldn’t tell at first if it was pure satire, a light-hearted mystery, or something in between.

Every time I see the trailer, I find myself just staring at Janelle Monae. She is stunningly beautiful

Whatever floats your boat. She’s okay looking but nothing special to me.

Saw it tonight and enjoyed it a lot. The entire cast was great but Janelle Monae stole the show for me. Our theater was packed so I assume it will be a decent success in its limited release.

I imagine once it’s on Netflix it will be trending for awhile.

She’s always done it for me.

Absolutely loved the first one. Great acting, writing, and originality. Will have to watch this one too at some point.

I think it comes to Netflix at Christmas time, but it’s in theaters until then.

It was only in theaters for a week

We just got the original Knives Out from the library.
I will admit to admiring Craig's physique in Cowboys and Aliens far more than in his double nought seven efforts. (I am a female and I almost remember being young enough so I knew a couple of guys who looked that good.)
I chuckled over Craig in this effort. His soft vague homage to a southern accent was one thing, but the main thing I saw was, was that he's enjoying his food. He's far from pudgy, but he's joining men of his age group.
Did the same authors write this script?

Rian Johnson wrote both.
