Yeah, he may have the right to kill an elephant, but that doesn't mean he's right in killing the elephant. Since when does having the amount of money to do something make you morally righteous enough to do something totally fricked more than a guy who makes 70K a year?

Seriously, the twat who that poster described shot an elephant in the middle of a herd. That's like someone marching into your living room, killing your sibling, and saying you're morally righteous because you have money, an incredibly small penis, and that it will make for a great photo.

Elephants mourn their dead and have burial rituals, the only animal other than us to do this. Elephants are seemingly the only animal that recognize their own mortality, something even chimps and dolphins don't comprehend. They have an incredibly high sense of empathy and abstract thought compared to other animals. Unless an elephant is actively getting violent, we should be above killing such a creature that truly recognizes death and what it means.

I'm all for hunting if you are eating what you kill. But big game safari hunting is fricking retarded.
