Caught this movie on Amazon rental the other night. Really enjoyed it. Australian mystery type movie.

Really enjoyed this . Love movies set in places we normally don’t get to see . Bana was terrific as always and the cast was top notch too . Now I want to go visit the Australian outback …

I have not read The Dry but I have read a few books by Jane Harper and thought they were good. I think The Survivors deals with some of the same characters.

Her best one in my opinion. I’m going to make time to watch this.
ETA: I know this is the movie board but if anybody is looking for more outback books, only killers and thieves by Paul howarth was good and harpers other stuff is pretty good.

Watched it because of this thread. Enjoyed it.
SPOILERS
The brief cut scene to Mal in the chair at the end - is that just for effect or is the implication that Aaron confronts him? Not sure how/if it's handled in the book.
Was interested to find out that one of the weakest parts of the movie (the note) wasn't in the book.
