Watched the remake earlier this evening because lately I've been on a Timothy Olyphant kick lately because of Deadwood. I originally thought this film would be more of a zombie apocalypse style film. But, it turned out that it wasn't and left me wondering what angle they were going to take with this film.

Have any of you seen it?

Was that the one where the water supply got poisoned by the crashed plane?

yep.

It had potential to be cool. But, then they just went off on a weird angle that i didn't like.

You're thinking of the movie Legion.

that's Legion.
The Crazies was an alright movie. I liked it for the most part. Mindless violence.

Decent flick. Few pretty crazy parts in it.

Pretty solid for a movie you expect to be a letdown.

But lets not get ahead of ourselves...it's no Joyride.

I'd go on and toss this one in the infected human/zombie genre. Not an Oscar winner or anything but I liked it. Considering how much cheese can come out of the usual movie in that genre.

I thought it was as well-done as they could make it I enjoyed it, the hospital part and the part where justified stabs that chick in the neck with the knife through his hand were badass

I watched it thinking I would hate it and turned out to be good. My favorite line was the old lady asking dead bodies "did Peter call"

I too assumed it to be a zombie movie but thought it was an interesting angle they took. I enjoyed the movie. It is what it was meant to be. Violent, average movie.
