quote:
Indifferent even to the prospects of inheriting his father’s estate, Swanson (Heidecker) whittles away his days with a group of aging Brooklyn hipsters, engaging in acts of recreational cruelty and pacified boredom. Desensitized and disenchanted, he strays into a series of reckless situations that may offer the promise of redemption or the threat of retribution.
Stars Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim

Their brand of comedy doesn't really appeal to me. I can watch their shows for about 5-10 minutes and I'm done.

It doesn't sound to me like it's that brand of comedy though. They didn't write or direct it.

I watched the trailer. It is still distinctly Tim and Eric.

Okay. I just watched the trailer. Up to a point it was still their style. But after it looked more like a serious film.

Yeah, that's what threw me. It seems serious, and then, you get a Tim and Eric moment. I might watch it someday, but I'm not running out to grab it.

I'm sure it will show up on netflix instant in a few months.
