re: The Challenge Season 36: Double Agents (Premieres 12/9)

Honestly this season has been pretty boring. Cast was way too big, and no real huge twists or power moves. Everything has been predictable.

There was zero reason for Kyle and Aneesa to let Cory go in. Here’s your chance to take out a strong player with a skull and they blow it. That’s why there’s no urgency for anyone to go down and get a skull because at the end of the day everyone was going to get a shot.

TJ all season: “as you know, nothing is what it seems... but right now we are going to do exactly what you all thought was going to happen.”

Aneesa looks like a black Baymax from Big Hero 6.

Good for Kyle and Aneesa. I wasn’t expecting them to win. And it’s hilarious that Kyle solved it.

T doesn’t want to be the house vote? frick that shite. Cory should be furious at her for saying that shite. She’s made it this far and acts like she wants a skull, but she doesn’t. She “needs to think about her game”? If that were true she’d want to get down there any way she can. Trusting the winning team to do it should be your backup plan.

Power Kyle is awesome. He’s so entertaining.

I hope all these people wanting Darrell get dealt with. He’s so underrated this season IMO. He’s the #1 person I hope wins. And Leroy is like “Dude, be prepared” and Darrell is like “I’m always prepared.” Dude isn’t scared of anybody and doesn’t seem to take much personally.

I love that Fessy keeps saying Nany DQ’d like it was her fault when he literally kicked her in the mouth. And I love that Nany regrets the Fessy move and wants Kyle back. She’s never fricking happy with anything.

Darrell threatening to take Kaycee to Leroy is awesome and hilarious. Leroy’s acting like he’s dumb but he’s not dumb, bruh.

CT can act all he wants like he doesn’t want Kam but he’s full of shite.

It’s amazing that Kam can look pretty decent or pretty terrible 100% based on her hair.

I love that Kyle wants to do what would be the funniest or burn the house down.

I’m interested to see if TJ finally does something weird with a twist. But I doubt it.

Oh well. Not looking good for my boy Darrell. Leroy is saying how slow he was moving but it seemed like he was right behind Cory.

I feel like the rope should’ve been a little shorter maybe? That was barely even an elimination, and both times Cory wasn’t THAT much faster than Darrell. What a weird one.

Darrell has one of the best attitudes and temperaments ever in the Challenge.

I absolutely love the changing partners angle. It completely changes the entire game and it can happen every week.

CT can still pretend to like and want T but he’s still full of shite.

I wonder if there will be a multi elimination and like only three or four teams can make the final. So they will have to eat each other or something like that.

And I have a feeling they are editing that CT/Fessy thing to be way more than it really is.

Such BS that Darrell basically got sent home because of a short arse foot race with someone a decade younger. No doubt in my mind production made that rope long as frick on purpose to keep Leroy or Corey in the game if they went down.

I thought we’d finally see a big move and have someone with power do something.. But nah just the same old everyone gets their chance at a participation trophy we’ve seen all year. Why would want a 5th guy getting his skull? Have the gold skulls take each other out.

Letting Cory go in guarantees there would only be five guys left so Kyle is safe no matter what. If I am Kyle that is a pretty good reason.

Gonna have to buy paramount just to stream this. Many of these are some of my favorite challenge folks of all time.

One problem I have is them titling it “all-stars” and billing it as some show to find the GOAT.

That actually would have been a great idea. Get Mark, CT, John, Wes, Landon, Alton, Derek, Darrell, etc and just have a bunch of heavyweights.

Tough to call it all-stars when the females dont have Rachel, Tina and Veronica. No fun unless the "mean girls" bring the drama.

They should have just called it The Challenge: OGs.

I agree that the "all stars" title is horrific and misleading

Besides, Challenge fans have basically been begging for a true "all stars" show for years. There was always rumor that they didn't do it because the casting costs would be too high, but for whatever the reason, it's almost too late now anyway.

Guys like Landon (who you'd have to have in a true all star cast) and girls like Emily Schromm and Rachel Robinson have basically moved on from that world altogether and probobaly wouldn't go back for anything other than a giant check.

And of course, Evan and Kenny and Camilla can never come back.

I thought about Coral, but she'd just such a layup now. I do agree, though, her and The Miz were pivotal to the early stages of the show.

As for this episode... good for Kyle and Aneesa, but I'm disappointed they wasted an opportunity to make a big move and just went with the easy way out.

I get that Aneesa promised Cory to send him in, but Kyle didn't have to go along with it.

This whole season and we've never seen what happens when there is either a house vote tie or a split in the winning team's decision. Sucks.
