My mom showed me this movie when I was about 13. Today I watched it for the first time since as a man with a daughter.

Kenny's testimony in court was very hard to watch. The movie effected me differently than it did when I was 13 for obvious reasons.

Jodie Foster rightly won an Oscar for this. She was incredible.

Her dance moves weren’t that great though.

I give her a break because she was pretty drunk.

I was home by myself and bored. When is a better time for you? During Thanksgiving?

She's 14. I think I'll wait a few years. But this weekend we will watch Scarface!

Yes. And the Excorcist before I was 10. She wasn't all there.

Go watch Glenn Close in Dangerous Liaisons and you might just change your mind.

The ending scene at the Opera… What she conveys without saying a word. So satisfying and cathartic for the audience.

Check out "Trial By Media" on Netflix...they cover the real woman it happened to. Talk about a tragedy.

And good for you! Way to be a good parent...14 is NOT too old to show her that. But make sure you point out to her that most sexual assaults are done by people you know and trust.
