What a fricking dipshit

It’s a towering achievement in film. One of the greatest films of all time.

No need for name-calling, dickhead. The film is way overrated and so is the actor who stars in it.

The problem is that he was opposite DDL and that's a tough assignment. Overall, I don't think he hurts the movie. Much like The Dark Knight was a showcase for Ledger's take on the Joker character - TWBB is all about Lewis channeling John Huston.

On the other hand, There Will Be Blood is not as good a film as, say, No Country for Old Men or QT's opus, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, even if Dano was "better" (whatever that means).

I mean, Leo didn't match up with DDL all that well in Gangs of New York. Who does look strong next to him in a film?

That’s why The Master is better. A two-hander where both actors are unstoppable.

Phoenix shocked me in that movie. I went into it thinking it was PSH's movie. Fooled the shite outta me.

People sleep on that film, but what Phoenix did in that film was on par with the best anyone has done, ever. And Hoffman was no slouch. He didn't just let him have the movie, either.

Yeah, the acting in that film is incredible. Joaquin's best role, IMO.

He also said that Austin Butler would have been better in that role, which I disagree with.

I thought that Dano was really good in his roles.

QT is my favorite director, but he's fos here. Dano played that role perfectly, as did he in 12 years a slave.

another dumb comment by QT. Butler was a kid when that movie came out.
