That one chick basically hates everything about the outdoors. Has a ridiculous fear of birds yet, somehow gets chosen for survivor?

I'm kind of surprised the voted out someone in a protected group first.

Last season, they voted out the trans woman first so I don’t think there is any pressure from the network.

In the after-show podcast, Probst talked about his notes on Nicole from the interview process. He was sold on her from the first meeting and considered her a lock for the cast early on. For whatever reason, she didn’t seem to show that same version of herself to the tribe and got booted. Maybe being on the tribe with 2 big physical guys highlighted her weakness even more? She didn’t show any redeeming qualities to argue she should stay.

Another interesting tidbit from the podcast is that 2 players got replaced by alternates at the last second because they refused to stop talking to other contestants, even after multiple warnings. The alternates were Jason and MC.

Probably so... she also just went with everyone's story to vote out Annie and didn't seem.to think she was in any danger so we might have missed out on some "fight" from her.

She even said she'd play her shot in the dark if she was in any danger and didn't.

I'm struggling how does a person go on Survivor when the wife is due in a week. Then says I was waiting for my wife to tell me not to go. The dude screams douche bag and wife probably happy he is gone.

Am I'm being to rough?

First off,

Love seeing the fat gay starbucks barista get ousted first. Chefs kiss that they all were like, yeah she fricking sucks at challenges and can't move fast

I also like that they are adding new challenges. Immunity challenges at the beginning are so fricking boring I don't ever pay attention but seemed like they had some new stuff this time around. Immunity is only fun to watch when you have like 8 or less people left in the game.

Not a very good looking set of people. I feel like the cast the past 3-5 seasons had half uglies and half models. Little too much autism this season for my liking .

Predictable episode, but satisfying result.

Yep, that anorexic chick with the fake tits played way too hard way too early.

She's willing to vote out one of their strongest members on week 2 because she's worried about facing him after the merge. You have to get to the merge first, dummy.

Plus big guys like that always end up losing a challenge or two when puzzles and such come into play. He isn't going to win everything. No one does.

I'm also no longer a fan of the 3-4 mini tribes to start the season. This set up is too prone to a single team getting picked off one by one bc all the players on that team suck.

I hate it too as do a lot of Survivor fans. Jeff has talked about this on the podcast. He likes it because he wants the "nowhere to hide" scenario and feels like you see the stories of the individuals impacting the game more. But you know, he's all about Survivor being about the stories and not the actual game.

It needs to be both... I see both sides of this... 6 person tribes force people from the losing tribes into the action, especially when they lose again and have 5. So we see a lot of that tribe, but we miss a lot on the other two tribes.

I actually feel they've done a better job this season (so far) at showing us the two stronger tribes and getting to know those players.

Survivor really isn't fun to watch until the merge because that's when shite is actually interesting. You can pretty much guess who's going home before the merge every single time.

That was different with bigger tribes because there were always some rogue people that could flip a vote. Can't do that with 5 fricking people.

I would like to see 2 tribes of 8 to start
The Losing Tribe goes to Tribal Counsel-

The winning tribe get to watch Tribal in person

As soon as the vote is over draw rocks for new tribes after each Tribal vote.

Talk about turn the game on it head- they all would be scrambling each week

Well, that was "eventful".

Why does this one tribe suck so bad at puzzles?

Can't always count on physical ability. One of the smallest guys this season is frickin wizard with puzzles.

Just catching up on the season so far. This tribe is just not good at anything and their best player left the game early. Producers need a major shakeup to bring some drama to this season.

It seems like ever since they started penalizing the losing tribe by taking their flint, there have been more “loser” tribes out of the gate. The lack of fire seems to be a penalty that puts a team in the hole that they cannot climb out of.

I remember a time when they didn't get flint and had to make fire the hard way.

I agree with you but I also enjoy seeing two tribes getting more and more emotionally attached to each other, knowing they’ll have to start slitting throats soon enough.

I’m looking forward to next week’s tribe shakeup.
