The deserving person almost never wins.
Richard Hatch was evil and devious and he won, because people in that first season actually understood it was a game.
There have been a few others, but in most cases, if it comes down to the evil genius and the nice floater, the nice floater wins.
The first All-Stars, Rob deserved the win just as much as Russell, but Amber took the prize.
People can't let go of their anger.
Russell is making a huge error in not trying to get Pavarti with him to the end. Then he would have a shot.
He does keep making the mistake that getting to the final will reward him. He keeps making the mistake that he also needs to have a shitty person sitting next to him. Unfortunately in his case, since he can't keep his ego and emotion in check, he would lose 10 of 10 tries in the finals.
At this point Pavarti is the only person he would have a shot at, and since she is nice to everyone, she would beat him too.

So true. Like I said earlier. It would be interesting if the final vote was cast at the live finale after cooler heads prevailed. But I know that's not realistic.

Na. That wouldn't help Russell at all since he is even more of a prick in the interviews. Although he hasn't been nearly as bad this season but he has been bad enough.
Plus I wouldn't want to give that power to the editors. They could very easily then manipulate the show so they got the winner they wanted.

At least Russell didn't brag this season that he was already a millionaire.

Well that we know of. It will be interesting to see in the reunion show if he did that again.
Maybe he did learn one lesson last time.

I didn't realize I was in the minority in liking Sandra. She's funny, likeable, and obviously does something right (although I didn't like her in the beginning of her first season). Yes, Russell is a strategic mastermind, but his social game sucks. Therefore, he is not the best, most deserving player ever. If people hate you, you (most likely) won't win. Get over it, Russell.

He appears to be a mastermind because he makes it look like these votes are his idea (they seldom are) and he is never afraid to screw someone he just made a pact with. Russell is an opportunist but he isn't in control as he claims.

I hate that Parvoti's lucky arse won immunity. She has no idea how close she was to going home. She's nothing but a spoiled rich kid from East Cobb County Georgia. No way she deserves to win again by flirting. She has a serious case of "entitlement syndrome". She may never work a day in her life-she'll find some schmuck to take care of her...like Coach. ha.
And damn, Sandra's goofy arse almost made the top 5 list of dumbest survivor moments by not playing an idol at the last opportunity. Why would the thought of not playing it even have crossed her mind.
Sunday should be interesting.

And tonight's two challenges cemented (if the whole world didn't already know) that Colby is the softest Survivor in history. That guy ia horrible at challenges. 15 seconds in he drops out of the immunity challenge with his head on the chopping block, then he yells at his brother like a douche bag on national television in the reward challenge. I would take him to my final two just to see him lose the million again

Wouldn't have mattered if she didn't play it. Rupert still would have been gone 4-2.

I didnt get to see the show last night. was that the last time Sandra could use the idol or will the next vote be the last chance?

Last night was the final chance.
We're down to the final 5, no more idols.
Sunday night is going to be a good one.

I use to think this but she has outright won about 3 immunity challenges, been right there competing in the others. When the rest of her allies dropped out of challenges, she stuck to it.

This. Parvati is the biggest threat remaining to win out immunity-wise and go to the final 3. Who would have better odds, especially in any challenge regarding balance or endurance? Russell? Colby? Jerri? Sandra? None - she'd be the favorite.
I have to think that the thinking will be of any of them, to take Russell to the final 3 because nobody will give him their vote.
Should be interesting.

I like Pavarti.
Everyone here keeps attacking Russell for being sneaky yet having no social game, well Pavarti has been sneaky all season and she plays a great social game.
And as mentioned she wins immunities. Just like she did in the past. She is a beast in any endurance challenge.
Plain and simple she has more game than Russell this season. She is probably not going to make it to the finals, but if she does she is equally as deserving as Russell if not more so.
And she looks good in a bikini.
Oh, I agree with the person above that Colby has been a big pile of weaksauce this season. He doesn't even seem to try.
I find it funny that he was screaming like an asshat at his brother in a challenge to spend more time with his brother.

No shite....completely treated his brother like crap on national television. Dude needs to take a look in the mirror when he rewatches the season and realizes he sucked at every challenge on his own....it was not his bro's fault
As Nick Swardson would say...."His shite is WEAK"

Really...and he dominated his first season ...in austrailia....he's a big disappointment...
Russell's wife was pretty hot ! I kinda thought the whole millionaire thing was a load of crap...but not any more.
Rupert's dumb arse reminds me of charlie brown trying to kick the football.....he falls for the lie every time.
i think this game comes down to parvati and sandra....sandra's problem is..she sucks at challenges...
Colby is out next..then maybe the girls turn on russell....
If jerri makes top 3 she wins, cuz i don't think she has made as many enemies.

Good episode. I've found this season to be thoroughly entertaining. Though she annoys me a good bit, Sandra also really impresses me with how she has been out of the majority ever since Boston Rob was voted out and yet has hung on while contributing little, if anything, to the rest of the tribe.
I don't get why people don't go after former winners first and foremost. Now you have both Parvati and Sandra still hanging around in the final five. Obviously these girls have an idea of what they're doing and by allowing them to stay you're only letting them work their magic even more.
As it looks now I think Parvati makes it to the final three because, as someone said earlier, she's your best bet to win the rest of the challenges (unless Colby has been sandbagging this entire season and magically turns it on at the end - which I highly doubt). Then you have to figure Russell makes it with her because she is smart enough to know that Russell will be the easiest person for her to beat in the finals.
She recognized - very early on - that he'd be a great person to have in her pocket. Someone who would intimidate others without regard for how he is viewed by the rest of the survivors. Therefore, she looks great compared to him.
As for the last person, I figure it would be Jerri just because she has been friendly with Russell and Parvati this entire time. It wouldn't surprise me, though, for Sandra to stick around somehow as well. She's stayed around so long as it is; she very well might win the entire thing. If it's Jerri in the final three with Parvati and Russell, then I think Parvati wins.
