No Way Home stayed in theaters for 6 and a half months. Avatar 2 was in theaters for over 5 months.
No Way Home was in wide release for almost 4 months. It then hung around between 400 and 10 theaters for another 2. Avar 2 was similar. Adding the the 2 months of basically specialty screens is misleading.
Especially since superman is still in thousands of theaters and will still be making money. It won't make top 10 of all time money, like the movies you chose.
Also, the 40 day window for PVOD has become the max for industry standard for everyone who isn't Disney, who released No Way Home and Avatar. Universal, Paramount (excepting Cruise films), and Warner would rather take the millions in $20 rentals that they aren't required to publicly disclose than the diminishing returns after 6 weeks in theaters. I don't like this, but those studios don't seem to be turning back.

This is why Gunn and Corenswet are perfect for their roles with this Character and you can tell they care and are compassionate.

I don't think it was bad but this one missed the mark trying to find it's own identity. Over the top destruction of Metropolis is a bit old, the Super girl thing was dumb party girl trope, comedic relief needed to be confined to Krypto as the garage door scene felt out of place. Why does Lex need to be this over the top clown these days? I know I am biased to the gravitas Rosenbaum had but it is miles better than what we have been getting. I did like the idea of Superman being a flawed individual who makes mistakes and is emotional. I don't think they quiet got the handle on it but it does make him seem more vulnerable
