Great finale. Really hope there's a season 6.

agreed. However, if they don't bring it back, I appreciate the way they wrapped it all up. Kind of like the Sopranos...you can use your imagination as to where it goes from here.

I can't believe Cooper finally lost his shite. Looks like a classic "suicide by cop/frick it" moment for him. Dick move by his wife (timing-wise) to decide she didn't want to have a kid with him.

It certainly looked like a series finale, IMO. What a solid show. Sucks that quality shows like Southland and Friday Night Lights don't/didn't get the viewers they needed to stay alive. Hard to switch networks and keep your viewers.

I mean, what was he doing at his "wife's" house anyway in the first place? Come on, he was gay.

Because after everything that happened, he needed to be around family. That's the only "family" he had.

Was it just me, or did they leave it open ended? He looked to be barely hanging on when the show ended.

Just got around to watching the last two episodes and I'm not sure how they can keep the show going. If it has to end this way...damn...fricking shame this show didn't get more press. One of the best shows around.

yeah, true. He had a line where he said, "Its all so clear to me now" or something like that.

the guy was a great cop but his life outside of that was a real downer. He was sinking into loneliness for most of the time in this season. And of course, he had a checkered past with his family.
