First off, the IMDB ratings sample could be tainted by the fact that this became a political fight when the Trump administration idiotically commented on it. That episode has over 12,000 ratings on IMDB. Only two other episodes ever have received anywhere close to that. Scott Tenorman and World of Warcraft. For reference the second episodes review count is in the 3,000s.

They didn’t touch the Biden’s because they share a lawyer. They’re sellouts and are artistically bankrupt. They bashed Trump for a full season almost a decade ago and nobody battend an eye because it was funny and in the South Park style. They tried it again the next season but it fell flat and nobody remembers it. What they’re doing now is political propaganda, there’s a difference.
