exactly how much of a shill of a president Trump really is. He's only doing what he is being allowed to do and what he is allowed to do is post his stupid thoughts on Twitter and then go sit in a corner and STFU. He has been given zero power
What does this even mean?
Specifically what other powers were given to which presidents and by whom were those powers given?

Political agendas shouldn't be on South Park. Ill watch the news if that's what I'm looking for, not South Park on Comedy Central.

Was the best way they ever handled an election. I almost used that one as an example. Even the Obama Wins episode was terrific.

I remember when south park made fun of things no one else was making fun of...that was kind of their whole thing behind team America world police as you will notice the one person they didn't make fun of...George bush. why? boring, everyone does that.
they said, there's nothing more punk rock than walking down rodeo dr with a George w. bush shirt.
they're old.

Nuance. The difference is nuance. That's what South Park lost.
Douche vs turd made fun of everyone as political satire. It made fun of voting, of both candidates, of the country as a whole, of the people who push voting but only for their candidate, etc....
They didn't have Garrison as George Bush and Mackey as John Kerry and then directly and specifically attack Garrison as Bush and then have him play that character for 4 years.
Do you see the difference?
South Park has always been satire. They've always been social commentary. They never picked a side and just hammered it for an entire season or two. Somewhere along the way they lost that nuance. They lost that brilliant way they used to attack issues no one else was and they did it in a way that was wrapped in brilliantly written satire and told through the adventures of the characters of South Park.
Yes they've had a real person on the show here and there, but not as an entire multiple season story arch.
Turning Garrison literally into Trump was just fricking lazy. I'm not mad that they have political satire. I'm mad at how lazy and apathetic they've become with it.

Simply by the fact that his own party doesn't even want to work with him.

Yeah, but man that episode was so visionary. You could ask anyone who was the douche and who was the turd in that election, and I don't think anyone had to think. It was the biggest douche who ever ran for President vs the biggest turd who ever ran for President.
Screenrant made a ridiculous list about which South Park episodes aged the worst, and they ranked that at #6. Really it was just written by an SJW who was just mad at every episode that called liberals pussies. It's ridiculous: LINK
