Watched it last night and I have to say it was pretty good. A little long imo, but I enjoyed it.

I did have 1 question though. Who is the blonde girl that seems to be a thief like Catwoman? Just a friend? A roommate? The movie never really explains it.

Also, since this was a trilogy, I'm assuming there won't be another movie, at least not with Bale as Batman? I would just really like to see Bale and JGL as Robin together.

My guess is that in a few years, there'll be a JGL Batman movie (w/ Nolan "shepherding" it like he's doing with MOS) and that Bale will reappear as Wayne in the second of THAT trilogy (sort of like Batman Beyond).

It's implied that she is Bruce's bastard child from his irresponsible college years. Nolan basically confirmed it later on.

Warner Bro's has confirmed that this is the route they will most likely go. They are both cast for the Super Friends movie as well.

I also recently saw it for the first time.

I thought it was okay, the action was good but the story was stupid.

Not really looking to watch it again.

Damn, and here I was hoping it was Catwoman's lesbian lover

My SO thought it was a lesbian lover. No idea what you mean by Bruce's bastard child, though. Where the world did it imply that?

The actress's name is Juno Temple and she plays a character based on Holly Robinson, a roommate of Selina Kyle's who appears in Frank Miller's Batman: Year One. Robinson was Selina Kyle's protege and was treated practically like a sister by Selina.

And it was a bad troll at that. I guess what I posted isn't much more retarded then actually believing that Nolan will make more Batman movies with John Blake as Batman.

OP, Rolltide's answer is accurate about Holly and, no, there won't be anymore Batman movies that take place in Nolan's Bale universe.

theyre going to make a more comic bookish/ sci fi batman to fit in with justice league. It will still be badass, but with better gadgets and super villains with powers

This post will get bashed with reminders of how shitty Batman and Robin was but I'm not convinced that this approach to Batman can't be done successfully.

I agree, The Nolan trilogy downplayed the weird in Batman.

You're saying that Scarecrow and the Joker weren't weird?

I think mostly what he's saying is even those characters were written and explained in a semi-realistic fashion, especially compared to the previous Batman movies.

cue the Nolanites.

No I what I am saying is there is plenty of great Batman that is much weirder than what Nolan did.

I enjoyed the trilogy immensely, but it's not the "perfect" Batman story/movie.
