Currently on How I Met Your Mother. Considering Park & Rec or Arrested Development next. Any suggestions?

I'm watching Arrested Development now, it's hilarious. I'm going to watch Parks and Rec afterwards.

Raising Hope is a good "white trash" sitcom.
If you never saw That 70s Show, that's pretty good until Donna goes Blond.

Turn off that "How I met your Mother" crap now, and get to some serious AD watching.

I would agree

HIMYM was good early but it got so old and not funny after awhile for me.

I've watched the Office a few times and it has it moments but usually its just awkward IMO. Is that the whole mantra of the show or did I just catch bad episodes?

don't give up on it based on just season 1. it gets way better.

season 1 was almost a carbon copy of the office

The office is a show that you really need to learn the characters. All the characters are soo funny in their own way. You just have to learn them. I know someone who was in the same boat as you and i told him to watch from beg. He finally did and he watches like 8 episodes in a row

So would skipping the first season be a bad idea? And I'm not really a fan of the Office, how similar are they?

I'll consider it. I think I'll go Arrested Development next. Any others outside of P&C, AD, and the Office?

I cant think of any right now. but watch AD and Parks. And after you finish the series. or after you finish season 3 go back and watch the first couple episodes.

also AD is a show that gets better and you catch more stuff everytime you watch it. its sooooo good

I'm in the middle of Parks and Rec now, and love it.

I'm doing Psych next.

I've seen rerun episodes here and there and I think its funny. So I am looking forward to watching from the beginning, I've already started a few but want to finish Parks and Rec first so I can catch up before the new season premieres.
