IDK, I’d say selflessly sacrificing the thing that they spent 5 entire seasons tirelessly building shows at least some degree of personal growth, no?
That said, I didn’t love the finale. Just not for the same reason as you, so splitting hairs maybe.

I think you're expecting too much from a short, half hour sitcom. It was a fun show and had a fun ending. Just be happy that they didn't try to drag it on for 6 more seasons. You'd have gotten everything you wanted and more, and more, and more until you puked.

I took it as shite like that happens all the time and we just don’t hear about it bc guys end up like the cast dude.
