I loved this movie as a kid. It was the 90s version of The Karate Kid. I use to always get pumped up during the training sessions. "Mr. Dumpling".

Great movie, just kind of hard to believe Chuck Norris would randomly join some fan's karate team in a tournament.

It was filmed in Houston with backing from local furniture pimp Jim "Mattress Mac" McIngvale, so there was more than a year of non-stop hype here around that movie. By the time it came out I had no internets in ever seeing or hearing about it again.
Even our local dirty old men radio hosts Stevens & Pruitt were a part of it and had roles in the film.
I guess this part was OK, though:
