I don't know. I had a feeling last week it was just too "neat". I think Brody's motivation is still more complex.

Walker assassinates the president and Brody the war hero runs for president where his part in the plot starts to unfold.

But in reality I don't think they would torture and try to turn Walker just for him to be a sniper. They could just send one of their own to do that. Walker is probably meant to be caught to throw everybody off the real traitor, Brody.

frick I watched the first 7 episodes on demand in two nights now I have to wait a week between.

Show reminds me of Arlington Rd. Everyone is in on the plot to blow shite up.

Sort of, but Walker is just a pawn being used to distract the CIA/FBI from the "real" terrorist (Brody). Brody doesn't look like he is going to stay faithful to them though.

Man, seriously no one on tonights episode? Insane is a good word for it. Very interesting to see how Nazir was able to gain Brody's trust. Still don't know his overall role, but it is starting to become clear.

Got caught up this week on the show. Watched 4 straight episodes last night and two others on Saturday.

HOLY. shite.

Without having a week between episodes to break everything down you go with the flow a lot more. Less thinking and just accepting what's put in front of you. You try and make sense of it and figure out the plot twists, but then you go to the next scene.

I was shocked Brody is a terrorist. That's after thinking he probably was...then maybe not...maybe so...and finally sure he's not after his confessions and the revelation about Walker.

I don't trust any MFer on this show anymore. For all I know his wife is in on the plot. Banging his best friend was just another way to make him hate America...only mostly kidding here.

I do love how they have set up the motivations. It's not as black and white as most "bad guys" are. There's a lot of depth into how he's become the person he is...even thought we really don't know exactly who he is at this point.

I just watched the last night's episode. It was definitely a building episode. It was interesting to see how he was turned. As soon as the kid left and the bomb went off, you knew why he changed. I do hate that he is leaning back to the terrorist side now, but it keeps the show on its toes. I am interested to see what Walker is up to. My original theory is that he is just a decoy, but we will see.

Yes, I think Walker is a decoy to deflect attention away frpm Brody, but I wonder what's up with Nazir wanting Brody to accept political office? Sounds like they are going for the long con.

I think it is just a great way to get Brody close to the VP (who is the former head of the CIA that dropped the missile on the compound that killed Isa). I think they are just very fortunate that Brody was put into a position that would make it very easy for him to get close to the VP.

I'm leaning towards Walker being a decoy. Sure, they'd love for him to blast the VP. But Brody's the big plan. I wonder if they'll try to get him to somehow kill the real president up close and personal or something.

I'm going with the theory Brody came clean in debrief long before he came home, before he even called his wife. Only Saul is in on it and Brody is playing his part to flush out the entire terrorist organization from the inside-out
