That was my first thought too.
What happened in the first 15 min? My satellite was jacked up and I got it fixed right when Coulson told Fitz to fix the transponder.

Not a whole lot. Just Whitehall experimenting on folks (including that same woman who stayed the same age, and was able to touch the diviner).

First 15 mins - 1945, Hail Hydra, alien metal paper weight kills a Howling Commando's soldier/test subject, but not the female Asian test subject. Enter newly formed Sheild busts in and takes over.
Or something like that

Ok, my DVR messed me up on the last couple of minutes after the last commercial. What happened the last few minutes?

Another really good one.
Am I wrong for being a big fan of Ward? Part of it may be guilt for trashing him most of the first season until he showed his true colors.

Skye's dad(Hyde) walks into a meeting with Ward and Whitehall. Whitehall introduces them. Hyde says meeting Coulson was good because he likes to look his enemy in the eye(as he looks Whitehall in the eyes). Cue flashback to Hyde finding his disembowled, Asian wife and swearing revenge on the man that did it.

Or maybe you've always wanted to throw your brother into a well? Lol

Oh...damn. Now I'm going to have to find it on On Demand and watch it again just to see that last scene.
ETA: And I agree on Ward. He is turning out to be a great character.

Damn. This show is gritty and dark. Who knew marvel could make a good show for TV. And that fricking last scene was great

How often had a character gone from being one of the most bland and boring characters on TV to one if the most interesting?

Exactly and the showrunner's aren't backing down by making it obvious a "redemption" of some sort is coming ever.
I want no redemption for Ward. I want him to be this lone wolf character that is in the middle while jumping from one side of the line to the other while his ultimate goal remains a mystery. If AOS did anything predictable, I'd be concerned that he would die in a heroic sacrifice at some point but the writers aren't predictable.
Also, based on the increase in Ward centric promotional material for the show, I'm thinking his increased popularity is recognized by Marvel.

I'm going to spoiler space this because I think its more direct show spoilers than just comic reference talk:
Here's a quick read confirming the coming of the Inhumans based on comic continuity.
LINK
So Skye is most likely a full Inhuman while Coulson's kids, grandkids, etc.. will be as well.
So here's where I'm confused. Skye's dad held the oblisik without dying but Skye's mom was immortal. Were they both inhuman's?

Coulson basically just got what amounts to a Kree blood infusion, right? If so, I don't know if that would make his descendants full blown inhumans.

Looks that way. My question is, if they are inhumans, why were they living in a human village? Maybe they were outcasts or something?

I think earlier in the thread someone threw out the theory that her father is Maximus the Mad, which I'm leaning towards now. Skye's mom, IDK.
But him being Maximus would explain them being outcasts and living in a human village. Or maybe when Skye was born, the parents didn't want her exposed to the Terrigen Mist. So they left Attilan.

If he's Maximus the Mad, then craps about to get real.
Posted on 11/19/14 at 11:20 am to Bamatab
I said it was Maximus because there's no record of a wife or children with him. They have free reign to flesh that character out.
