I read on reddit that they are waiting on a approval to test Haes DNA. Apparently a string of murders involving Asian Females happen in that area. The guy who committed the murders is already behind bars.

You'll be hard pressed to find another podcast like Serial. But it wouldn't hurt to start with "This American Life" & "RadioLab". Both are produced by the same folks who created Serial.

Another wheel spinning episode like last week. The last two eps have not moved much of anything forward. Not sure why they are stretching this out with pointless filler.

Yeah the last few episodes haven't really given any information. What has happened to the students/research team that was going to start investigating the case? We haven't heard anything from them since the lady that runs it agreed to take it on.

Yeah I've been slightly disappointed with the last two episodes. I do find it interesting that next week will be the season finale. The story still has a lot of layers and won't possibly be resolved until mid-'15

This episode had no point. So his colleagues from the mosque could reminisce about rumors and stories from two decades ago that occurred prior to the murder and had no bearing to showing a violent past, that means nothing.

Seems like this show, as great as it has been, is kinda limping towards the finish line. Obviously, there isn't going to be any closure in the finale. I feel like there are people that expect this to be tied up into a bow at the end. These last two eps were just kind of a jumbled mess that seemed to be killing time trying to get to the finale because there was nothing substantive left to cover.
I feel like a lot of people are going to be pissed if they are expecting anything to be resolved in the finale.

I think the scheduled episodic nature they used is a problem. Hold off a week, or two, three, etc. until you have sufficient material for a new episode.

I liked some of this this week's episode. It "humanized" Adnan a bit more in that it gave some insight into his thoughts on the production. It answered some questions I had about how aloof he's acted on some of the phone tapes with SK.
The first part about some of the rumors was pretty dumb though and added nothing to the story. I guess they're running out of material and needed to fill some time or something.
