Is one of the best parts of the show.

I’ve recently done a rewatch and just got through S2. Bob Newby was a boss and I loved the references to The Goonies.

Which, come to think of it, the Russian was awesome in S3.

Sean Astin is great in general. Sean Astin should have not only been nominated for “Best Supporting Actor” for “Return of the King”, he should have won it.

Killing him off was a big mistake.

Yeah, I remember thinking at the time the nominees were atrocious and double checked them before posting. Both Sean Astin and Andy Serkis should have been nominated and both were better than all five of those nominees.

Watanabe was deserving. He's great in that movie.

I never saw 21 Grams, but Benicio is almost always phenomenal, especially in his prime there.

Robbins winning is just a joke. Mystic River, for whatever reason, was a huge Oscar darling I remember.

2003, outside of LOTR, Kill Bill and the original Pirates of the Carribean, was just not very good year for films.

He is great in that movie and would have been the last person in this category actually nominated that I would have kicked out.

Given that Lord of the Rings won every single award it was nominated for (really was for the trilogy as a whole and not RotK on its own terms), it did pretty well. Serkis should have won Best Supporting Actor in 2002 and Astin should have won it in 2003.

Tim Robbins, Sean Penn, all you needed was Michael Moore.

Plus Hollywood loves pedophilia.

Until they finally got caught.
