this came on Disney all the damn time back in the day, don't think I made it more than halfway every time I tried to man up and watch it. To this day I haven't seen the whole thing. Probably need to give it a shot.

The strongest human I have ever known got scared during Lost Boys (Count Keifer waking up in the cave). That ought to count for something.
ETA: I looked it up and I was wrong, Lost Boys (1987) was neither PG nor PG-13. Tough as it is to believe, that's rated "R".

A huge decline in the shark population immediately after Jaws was out because people are morons who really thought sharks were just rampaging local beaches.

I saw Race With The Devil (1975) in the theaters when I was around 13 and it scared the shite out of me. Peter Fonda Warren Oates and their ladies stumbled upon a Satanic Human Sacrifice in the woods and spent the next 2 hours been chased by this cult in order to silence them. It still creeps me out.
