ED-209 scene is pretty funny if you watch nowadays as a grown up

It’s so over the top

I watched this movie at 6 years old with my parents.

They were more concerned about this scene

Than this one

I’d say that level of violence is not appropriate for a 6 year old, and somehow I still turned out to be a non-violent, productive member of society.

This movie was extremely gruesome

Criterion Collection released the unedited X-rated version. “The unrated director’s cut, including “excessively violent” shots cut from the theatrical release to avoid an X rating.”

ED 209 scene shot in top of renaissance tower in Dallas. In the actual offices of the first place I worked. Everyone still loved to talk about it, 25 years later.

This scene . . .

My buddies and I re-wound this scene on the ole VCR multiple times. So gross.

Probably a legit concern, there are more barriers in place keeping people from being violent than from doing drugs. All you have to be is a decent person and you’re not going to go around killing people regardless of what you’ve been exposed to.

Decent people get caught up in drug use all the time since it’s easier to perceive drug use as victimless.

Clever movie and certainly the apex of Peter Weller's career...
