Not sure how but I’ve never heard of this movie before. Definitely going to have to check it out. I really like Hurt, Stamp, and Roth. Don’t even need to know anything about it but those are three actors I always enjoy watching. Thanks.

We saw the 2015 film in the theater (we were on a Carey Mulligan kick) and liked it well enough. That got me to watch the 1967 version on TCM. Man, Stamp's take on the character was miles better than what Tom Sturridge delivered in the newer version.

The "Kneel Before Zod" scene was the GOAT.



And I love the interaction between Zod and Lex Luthor (RIP Gene Hackman - GOAT Luthor)

Stamp was also the voice of Jor-El on Smallville.
