While I wouldn’t classify the show as uproariously funny, it is clever and it certainly captures the essence of growing up in my high school years.
I forgot how many stars appeared in this show.
Shia LaBeouf Appeared in an episode, and he couldn’t have been more than 12-14?
Anyone who likes nostalgic coming of age shows will appreciate this.

P.S., it was great when a season comprised of 18-20 shows.

I just finished a rewatch a couple weeks ago.

That show was star studded with future A-Listers.

It’s a great show and it’s absolutely incredible how many future stars were in the show, absolutely incredible.

This show proves 1 of 2 things (or both)

1. Judd Apatow knows talent

2. Knowing Judd Apatow is a fast track to Hollywood success

Though I hung out with jocks, freaks and geeks in high school, I was more associated with the geeks. Unfortunately, I didn’t possess the smartness associated with the geeks, only the awkwardness.
In the show, the geeks have almost all of the funny parts.

It’s one of the GOAT shows, seriously. The subject matter it takes on is pretty incredible at times, and it’s really well acted almost across the board. Even people like Seth Rogen and Busy Phillips are good in it, and they generally suck.

Bill is an all time character, and some of his scenes (like the TV/cereal scene and the 7 minutes in heaven one) are all timers as well.

The most incredible thing to me was how it wasn’t successful when it aired. Because the quality is very good, and even with the mishandling by the network (airing episodes out of order and on different days IIRC), I still would’ve guessed it could’ve found an audience. But it didn’t. I remember watching it on TV and liking it a lot. Rewatching it now, I love it.
