Yeah there should have been no pointless child Annie for a whole movie. Episode 1 promising young pilot starts force training and has natural ability. Really ambitious and charismatic. Episode 2 anakin gains lots of power and turns to the dark side. Episode three he causes lots of chaos and kills padme. Sends obi wan and yoda into hiding.

Or have Padme flee at the end of the second film without Anakin knowing she was pregnant. Padme has twins at the beginning of the third film; the Jedi Order hides them from Anakin. Anakin kills Padme at the end of the third film.

But this would require Anakin's turn to being in the second film (which it should have done).

I wouldn't have Anakin completely on the Dark Side at the End of Episode II, but I agree with you roughly how the Padme story should have gone. Have it to where at the end of Episode II Anakin is kicked out of the Jedi Order for Windu discovering his relationship with Padme. Anakin would instead blame her for the situation instead of himself and intimidate her greatly, telling her to leave him forever. Padme would go to Anakin's brother Owen, tells her she's 3 months pregnant with Anakin's child, and both knowing how he was going to turn out flee for the Outer Rim.

Movie ends with Palpatine taking Anakin into his service (Anakin being unaware he's a Sith Lord), and the final shot will be Anakin saluting Palpatine in red Vader garb. Episode III would be 6 months later and Anakin would be much more violent under the Emperor's guidance, ruthlessly having rioters on Corusant beaten Judge Dredd style. Obi Wan would come to see him fearing what he's heard to be true. He tries to get Anakin to calm down his rage, which he does for a time and realizes the Emperor has gotten to him and that he needs Padme back in his life. Anakin asks Obi Wan to find Padme for him and that he intends to apologize and settle down with her. Obi Wan agrees and seeks her out.

Anakin would go to the Emperor to resign his position, but the Emperor then tells him it's a shame, since he has just discovered Darth Maul's location and planned on sending him to finish off Maul. Anakin accepts it as his final assignment for the glory of killing him and vengeance for the wrongs he's done during the Clone Wars. When Anakin gets to Maul, Mace Windu is there as well also being tipped off by the Emperor. Anakin loathes Windu more than Maul, and decides to kill them both and blame it on Maul. He kills them both, but is caught by his and Windu's former apprentice Ashoka. Anakin can't bring himself to kill her, so she escapes and warns the rest of the remaining Jedi on what happened.

Anakin then tries to kill the Emperor to show that he's not an evil prick and to save himself, but the Emperor is far too powerful. The Emperor then gives Anakin the task of hunting down the remaining Jedi before they kill him. Anakin obliges, but secretly goes in search of Padme as well in hopes of fleeing the Galaxy with her away from the Emperor and the Jedi who will always hunt him. Obi Wan over a long distance lies to Anakin not having found her, but he actually has and has sent Luke with Owen and Leia with General Organa (who would have a much larger role).

Obi Wan would go with Owen to help set up his camp on Tatooine, and Anakin would find Padme during that time. Padme would then call him out on all his horrific bullshite, particularly on him promising to start a family with her, and Anakin emerges as full fledged Vader by Force Choking her to death. Obi Wan would then have no choice but to directly face Anakin once he secured his children, and it would be tragic for both of them.

That's how I think it should have gone down at least.

I would add another Jedi character who Anakin trains with and grows close to. At the end of the Episode II, Anakin is put in a situation with Darth Maul where he has to choose between the Jedi friend and Padme. He chooses Padme and hates himself for it. Then Windu walks upon the siutation and realizes the relationship between Anakin and Padme and expels Anakin from the Order.

The decision that caused Anakin to lose his friend and his expulsion from the Order would start to breed contempt for Padme which would explain his killing her at the end of III.

Yeah, good concept. I've liked the Ashoka character from the Clone Wars and would have had her in the prequels. My thought on how to use her is once Anakin is kicked out of the Jedi Order, Windu would take her up as his new apprentice simply to spite Anakin. Then when Anakin murders Windu in cold blood, she comes in at the last second to see it. Anakin can't kill her, so she flees, also having figured out Palpatine was behind all of this. Anakin goes to Palpatine tries to kill him, but the power of the Dark Side forces Anakin to bow before him. At that moment Ashoka arrives with like 6 Jedi to take both her former master and the Emperor down. The Emperor with his mind easily kills all of them, but spares Ashoka. The Emperor asks Anakin what he'll do to spare her, and he says anything, and Palpatine says to become his new apprentice. Combined with saving her and wanting the Emperor's powers, he agrees, with Ashoka repeatably protesting in the background not to do it.

Once Anakin rises as Darth Vader, the Emperor proceeds to brutally murder Ashoka in front of him as his first lesson of being a Sith: Showing mercy is a weakness, and her brutal death is his punishment for failing to protect the Empire. It will reflect the scene where Vader watches Palpatine electrocuting Luke, and Anakin is powerless to stop him from what he is doing to his former 15 year old apprentice.
