Goldfinger is basically the plot of 3/4 of all Bond movies. Bond has to stop some bad guy who has an evil scheme that is hatched in order to increase the wealth of said bad guy. Goldfinger is a great film and one of my favorites, buts its formula is that of a generic Bond film. Basically, its already been remade. (Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, A View To A Kill, etc.)

I wouldn't mind one bit if they rebooted the series where Bond is back in the 60's.

Have the rights issues with Thunderball been resolved? Can it be remade again outside the Bond franchise? I'm assuming it can't, or it would have been already.
