In my dream scenario, we all know Maggie Lawson is leaving the show, maybe instead of ending the show altogether this is a way to replace her character and let Psych continue without her.

did not know she was leaving the show... that sucks. why is she leaving the crew?? it looks like they have a blast on that show

Ahhh so that's why the 8th season is only 8 episodes. Well frick that, Juliet is great but the show can definitely go on without her. This wouldn't be michael scott leaving the office, it'd be Pam leaving the office. Big change, but the comedy would still be there
