Don't click on sketchy shite. After UAC (user account control) came into place 10+ years ago, you have to be seven levels of inattentive to grant admin permissions to an app or download you can't identify.
Defender is good enough, and it always helps if you use a browser like Brave with some built in protections vs. vanilla Chrome.
But all the IPTV thieves on this board will insist that the app they installed is legit, no matter what.
