Pressure is out on Peacock WWII/Ike/D-day/meteorology

My wife watched this yesterday while I had Rogue Heroes on the background. I had to laugh at one scene where Monty was raising hell and a British officer responded, and the actor playing that officer was playing Monty in Rogue Heroes.

Never heard of Exercise Tiger before I watched it today. It’s amazing some of the important events that never get mentioned.

I spent years studying the Civil Rights Movement, Lynching, The rise of the Klan, etc. when I was in grad school. I read and or skimmed through hundreds of books and articles. Not once did I come across the Tulsa Massacre of 1921. Not once. I didn’t find out about it until the fricking opening sequence of HBO’s “The Watchmen” in 2019. Jeez.
