ABC announced recently that it will air the special at 8 p.m. October 16, with EW sharing the first art.
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will reprise their roles from the popular films, as will other “Toy Story” series stars Joan Cusack, Timothy Dalton, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn and Kristen Schaal. Carl Weathers joins the cast as Combat Carl and Combat Carl Jr., Variety previously reported.
ABC describes the event as, “What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story OF TERROR!”

Love Toy Story. All 3 movies are great and I'm actually pretty excited for this. Glad all the voices are coming back.

It will be fun to see what horror movies they make references to. Obviously Psycho was a big inspiration.
