I enjoyed watching the older shows but it got me thinking, what are these people hiding from? Obviously, they are free to live where they want, but I tend to think there is a little something missing from their minds…

This version of the Alaska wilderness (Life Below Zero etc) is actually the most urban version so i don't think they are hiding from anything. You would go deep in the bush if that were the case not the coast. They are all fake as hell but I enjoy them.

Just like EVERY reality show, the older ones aren’t nearly as scripted. PP is unwatchable now
