As the main villain.

Variety

Joins Holly Hunter as another big name for a probably lousy show.

Why?

Man, they think tossing $$$ for talent will save this IP?

Nothing against seeing Paul Giamatti in ..,anything, but wouldn’t hiring a group of talented writers be more effective and cost efficient?

So Picard Season 3 was basically the perfect show for Trek nostalgia, that got nothing but good graces from the fans and sets up a Legacy cast for more great adventures. Paramount takes that goodwill, shoves it up its' arse, gives us another terrible season of Discovery and instead of greenlighting Legacy, they are going to give us the most woke POS series they can think of.

Libs are so fricking stupid. They are allergic to good content and money

Doctor Who showeunners / producers admitted that they don’t care that the ratings are tanking. It’s the message & they literally say it’s the right thing to do.

Agenda over source material.

Yeah. I simply won’t be watching Star Trek or Doctor Who for right now. That’s ok - I’m not glued to my lazy boy (or rocking chair as I get older) yet. There are literally a thousand other shows on right now.

Things have a tendency to flip too - and once we get a great few shows that kick everyone’s arse in the ratings, doesn’t overtly push a narrative, gives us good stories AND makes a ton of cash, all of this will go away.

I have a foolproof method when it comes to enjoying Star Trek. If the particular film or series sucks, I don't watch it.

So far no one has come into my home and forced me to watch any of it at gunpoint.

I mean, being woke has been Trek's thing since the beginning.
