His last 9 roles are...

Gangs of New York - Good movie

Catch Me If You Can - Haven't seen it but heard good things

The Aviator - I actually turned this one off after a half hour of watching it and I never do that

The Departed - Good movie

Blood Diamond - Haven't seen it but heard good things

Body of Lies - Haven't seen it, not really interested

Revolutionary Road - Haven't seen it, not really interested

Shutter Island - Good movie

Inception - Good movie

So, four good movies and a couple that I'm not interested in watching and a couple that may be good but haven't really inspired me enough to watch them yet and one that I hated and turned off. To me to be considered a great actor you have to have been in great movies and I can't think of a single one that he's been in.

Hell there are more Nic Cage movies I like than there are Leo movies.

I mean it's all subjective because we all have different taste but to me Leo is merely a good actor but nothing more nothing less.

Oh and cough, I finally got around to watch My Darling Clementine. Good stuff. Ok Coral shootout was pretty good. Fonda is easily my favorite Wyatt of all the Wyatt movies. And Victor Mature was great too.

And Walter Brennan is easily the best Old Man Clanton.

You need to check this one out. One of the more underrated movies of late. And one of Leo's best performances.

In that same time period, Nic Cage has played in: The Sorcerers Apprentice, 2 National Treasure movies, Next, Knowing, Ghost Rider, World Trade Center and Bangkok Dangerous. I mean atleast he takes some pride in the movies he chooses and isn't out to just get a paycheck like Cage seems to be doing. Not saying Cage hasn't been in some good movies, I just don't think the two are even on the same planet right now.

Well I meant during the course of both their entire careers. No doubt Cage has been in a lot of bad movies but what I'm saying is that number of movies he has been in that I like are greater than the number of Leo movies that I like. Not by much though I can probably think of 7 Cage movies I like but only 4 Leo movies I like, mind you I haven't seen everything either have done.

Naw I got you.
Give those other three movies a chance and you might enjoy just as many Leo movies, but in a much shorter career. You not a fan of What's Eating Gilbert Grape or Romeo + Juliet? Two that most people seem to enjoy.
Ok I'm done selling

Haven't seen Gilbert Grape. Saw Romeo + Juliet in english class back in high school and didn't care for it. To me Romeo & Juliet is the 68' version.

Portman is very good. She was great in Closer. She was also excellent in The Professional.

Aside from the big budget Batman films, I disagree with you on Christian Bale too.

HOWEVER, the answer is Richard Gere, Tom Cruise and Nicolas Cage FTW. Especially Richard Gere. He has been Zack Mayo in every movie he has ever been in.
