Outlander Day!!
I don't wait until Sunday evening to watch. Since I get STARZ from Amazon I know the episode is available to stream early Sunday am.
Already watched it. Loved seeing Brianna and Roger again. Finally got to see Roger's singing skills (actor that plays him has a great voice). As a book reader...was curious how they would introduce the Indian skull and ghost storyline with Claire. Liked how it was done. Finally got to see Fraser's Ridge as well.
FYI....looks like this whole season, even though it takes place in North America, was still filmed in Scotland. Hopefully this won't upset the "must be historically accurate even though it's a fiction show" posters too much.

Bri sure slapped the shite outta Roger.

Ugh I’m not liking this change with Bri and Roger. She was not that forward in the books.
I can’t decide if I’m biased because I just don’t like the actress that plays Bri or if they’ve written her bad.

I like the actress that plays her.

I’m glad she’s working for you. I mean, they had to see something in her when they cast her. I unfortunately don’t see it. I really hope I do though. She’s gonna have to bring it as this season goes.

Didnt get to watch or update the thread. How was last nights episode?
Posted on 11/19/18 at 12:22 pm to iwyLSUiwy
I thought last night was good. I liked aunt jacosta telling Claire off and then Claire telling her off.

hopefully claire was like "well you've been yelling at a chair you blind bitch"

Finally finished the episode.
That one was pretty slow. Fell asleep two nights in a row trying to watch it
1. Would they for gods sake stop running away from one another. I mean did you really have to chase a donkey 4 miles into the woods?
2. Brianna's boyfriend is an idiot. He's been with women but he will only marry a virgin? Cmon dude, dont turn that down.

After the 7 OT game I watched "common ground". I really thought it was the best episode of the season so far, the ending was really good.

Agreed, I really enjoyed this episode as well.
I was curious how they were gonna handle the bear from the book. I watched the Beyond the episode thing at the end of the episode and they talked about how they changed the bear story from the book to suit the show. The producer also mentioned they met with the Cherokee tribe in NC and only cast actors from Canadian First Nation tribes for those roles. They wanted things to be represented as authentically as possible. It is the attention to detail like that I just love about this show. If you don't watch the thing at the end of each episode you really should.
I CANNOT wait for the next few episodes with Brianna's storyline to progress. So exciting!
And OMG....was the french bulldog in the episode not adorable??!! She is the actual pet of one the executive producers and her name is Carrot.

Anybody watching tonight?

Already watched it this morning

great episode. we had action, not many cheesy Clare and Jamie moments, and Indians.
FYI, the CGI looks bad of the "North Carolina" mountains. They filmed all of this in Scotland and were using CGI for the scenery shots.
It looks bad when hes overlooking Frasiers Ridge IMO

I thought so too. I was thinking dang they could at least make the "waterfalls" look like water is flowing through it.
I fell asleep again though midway through. I need to start watching it earlier, it was like midnight and I had taken a muscle relaxer, so I was struggling to watch the 30 minutes I did get in.

You can download any Starz show after midnight on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
We always watch it after church along with Ray Donovan. Showtime does the same thing
