well i am not excited that i watched this whole season it was one of the worst in singing competition history talent wise

So I just watched this finale in less than 15 minutes. 
Good for jermaine. The voice needs to step it up next year. The overall talent was weak. Chris Mann shouldn't have finished in last fwiw. Tony should have. Based on last night, the right one won this competition.
I love lady antebellum but their performance seemed kind of off tonight.
Bieber was bieber.
Flo rida was awful.
I love hall & Oates

last year they let us have original songs from the finalist, dont know why they didn't do that this season

I remember dia singing "inventing shadows" last year on the finale. I enjoyed that.

Who do you think has the most success out of this group? I think Juliet. I'm happy for jermaine though. He just looked so genuinely excited to be where he is. Real humble.

Juliet, it'll be a repeat of last season when Dia lost to Javier. Last time I checked Dia's career was going better than Javier's

i dont think tony makes any waves, chris doesnt have a popular genre, jermaine is great but there is a shite ton of good r&b singers i think he may do ok but not light the world on fire and for juliet i think she does the best but i dont think she is going to be a superstar but enough to get known

I didn't get to watch. My kitchen ceiling gotten taken out today and the TV I taped it on is in the kitchen, so I went out to dinner.
I take it Jermaine won. Good for him. Was there an order? How did Christina take the loss?
I'll watch it tomorrow on On Demand, maybe. Problem is you can't ff when you see it there.

It really isn't worth watching to be honest unless you have free time to kill. They brought back a lot of the cast offs and had performances. All of them were mediocre or terrible IMO. I enjoyed hall & Oates performance. But didn't care for Bieber, flo rida or lady antebellum (and I'm a a pretty big LA fan).
I went out to dinner also so I didn't start watching until 945 on DVR. I finished it in 20 min. I skipped over most of the judges commentary because i am pretty sure I have a good idea about what they were saying.
Plus the final performance by jermaine was ruined because people kept hanging on him while he was trying to sing which was kind of aggravating.

I taped it on the dvr in the kitchen and not on any other dvrs in the house. Ceiling is being changed out in the kitchen. TV is all covered up in plastic with the rest of the appliances and walls. I forgot to tape it on the dvr in another room. I have AI taped on 4 dvrs every season, so at least I won't miss that. I didn't like the voice enough to tape it anywhere else.

Thanks for the summary and the warning. I might like to see the reactions. I can just turn it on while I work and check it periodically to see if I want to pay attention.
Are you going to watch Duets? I'm thinking about taping it just in case it ends up being good. I like singing competitions.

No problem.
Blake shelton was pretty excited since his guy Jermaine won. I was saying earlier that I was pretty happy for jermaine. He truly looked so happy to be where he was. His reaction was genuine astonishment. Pretty cool moment.
He reminded me of when Jordin Sparks won idol back around 2007. That was one of my favorite finale moments. Especially when she had to sing the song "This is my Now" after she won. Awesome moment.

Yeah, im probably going to see what that is all about. I like Jennifer Nettles and John Legend. Seems like an interesting concept. I haven't heard much about how the actual competition will work. I will probably DVR it as well. I think it starts on May 24th. I enjoy these singing competition shows also so I might as well see how this one goes.

I'm glad Blake's guy won. He's the most genuine judge of all of them, to me. Christina should be booted and replaced. I like Adam, but he shouldn't have played with the pig and gotten muddy. I just don't get Cee lo. He's just strange to me and I don't really trust his opinions too much since he doesn't impress me, himself.
