True, but here is the rub.
Becky went to them last night/this morning and was basically begging them to vote Vanessa out because she is starting to get paranoid that Vanessa is working James (which she is). Becky said that if she knew that they wanted Shelli out all along, then she would've handled the nominations different, and wouldn't have been so out in the open about backdooring Vanessa (and pissing her off). They basically reassured her saying that she's fine, but Becky walked away thinking that Vanessa was still going to get voted out. I have a feeling that once Becky realizes that James, Meg & Jackie basically lied to her, and are actually going to vote Shelli out, Becky is going to be pissed. It will drive a wedge between Becky and that side.
So basically if they vote out Vanessa they have a 4 person strong alliance that is bigger than Austin and the twins, and the potential alliance of Shelli, JMac, & Steve. But if they vote out Shelli, they will only have a 3 person strong alliance which is either equal to the Austin & the twins, or less than a potential alliance of Austin, the twins, and Vanessa with Steve as a possible extension.
If they really wanted Shelli this bad, they should've given Becky a heads up before the veto ceremony.

Yeah. It's till early enough where it's all about the numbers. Becky made it pretty clear which side she trusted more and for them to go behind her back to do this will end up costing that alliance a chance to win.

Shelli loses Clay last week, ends up on the block next to Vanessa, and is the first to go to jury. The only thing that could make this more enjoyable is either having Austin or Steve go during the DE.

It's either really smart or really dumb to get Shelli out now. Vanessa goes and Becky is happy and on team JMJ. Shelli remains and is fixated on an alliance member, James. Or vote Shelli out and draw a line with Becky on the other side. Thing is, Becky is not able to play in the HoH Thursday, so how dangerous is she? They can get Becky out if they or Vanessa wins or go right back after Vanessa. Still think it's a mistake as JMJ will be sought after as the other nom next to Becky. Best bet IMO is keep Becky happy and along with JMac, get Vanessa out and then gun for Austin and the twins. Then nobody has numbers on you.

This is what I would do as well.
But another problem now is that JMJ want to work with the Austwins, and want a final 6 with them apparently. And apparently Austin and the twins might want the same (Austin told the twins that JMJ are basically on the same mental level as they are, so it might be best to get the smart people (Vanessa, Shelli, and Steve) out first. I personally think that is a mistake on the Austwins part because I think Jackie and James have a better chance at winning comps than they do.

This works best with Vanessa staying then. JMJ / Austwins / Vanessa and Steve / JMac and Becky with Becky unable to compete. So realistically you have a 6 vs 2 vs 1 for the HoH. One of those 6 better win HoH though.

The gang is so fragmented, there really isn't a great option.
First, either chick out is great. Both have been huge in manipulating the house.
But going forward, there are pros and cons for all of the various alliances.
Which is why this season has been good. The only thing is lacks is a real quality villain.

if they send home shelli which is looking highly likely they better send home van if one of the 6 win hoh. I will be so pissed if they don't. jmac needs to pull this off. he was boasting about how he wanted to get blood on his hands to send home vanessa

not gonna lie I'm kinda rooting for Austin to win. not because I like him, I don't, but because clelli and van basically would've given up their game to save him after he said he had no desire to win and he wins over all of them
