You take Shane right? The third comp of the final 3 HOH series is always question/answer. Shane would never win that.
I think that they have to try to get rid of Ian.

Dan beats anyone other than Ian so I don't think that's a problem anyway.

I would take Shane for sure over Ian. Ian has just as good of a shot to win an endurance comp and Ian knows way more than Shane about everything that has happened. It's crazy to think how close ian was to leaving at the very beginning

Not really. Winning the HOH is the safest way to get to the final 3. Granted, the power shifts and the winner of the Veto ultimately decides who the third person to the final 3 will be, but it would be smarter to secure a spot with the HOH and then the HOH could also win the veto.
Assuming Danielle puts up Shane and Ian, if either of them win the veto then Dan goes up and stands a good chance of going home. Ian and Shane both have to realize that Danielle takes Dan to the final two over either of them. Danielle is dumb to think that she can beat Dan in the end.
If Dan threw the HOH to Danielle, that might be the cocky move that ultimately gets him evicted.

sure the dude is a little gay and a tool, but he really is poor and could use the money...and he played a pretty good game, too.
He won a lot early when he had too, but after the reset he stayed fairly low and let other people be bigger targets
Danielle is an annoying, whiney, emotional attention whore who is only where she is because of Dan...yes she has been beneficial to Dan too but no way she would have made it this far
Danielle has some serious emotional issues...she is the least deserving of the remaining four

Well yeah, but the HOH has already happened so I wasn't including that. All I meant was that it doesn't matter who they want out because it ultimately won't be their decision. It will be whoever wins the POV's decision.

If I was Dan, I think I would get rid of Shane here. I hope he realizes that Dani's infatuation of Shane would make her take Shane to final 2.

Dan has to get rid of Shane if giving the choice. Why? Dan has stated several times he "just wants to make it to the final 2". Well, Dan votes Shane out and shows Ian that they are still good. If Ian was to win the final HoH, I think he would take Dan with him. If Dani won the final HoH, she knows she has no chance against Ian, so she would bring Dan along as well. If Dan wins, he cuts ties with Ian and takes Dani all the way to the $500K.
And as stated, Dan knows he has no clue where he stands with Dani in regards to Shane. If it is those 3, Dani and Shane would take each other and I am sure Dan sees that.
If the veto and everything is accurate from above, Dan is in great shape. Especially if Dani pulls him off.
