Yes, I will still watch even though I really don't want to right now. It's just going to be really hard to watch two people I really don't like win the show.

I was wondering that.
She's going to go far, though, so she'll be okay. She wasn't going to win. The only girl that has a chance to win is Chez which makes my nearly physically ill. They wasted that save on her. I'm still mad about that.

Agreed. I guess what has been happening the last few weeks with Hollie is just delaying the inevitable pain for me.
Phillips is a machine. He will be in the finals. I think Sanchez joins him.

Congrats, Bee. I was pretty sure it was going to be Skylar out of the two. I think Hollie is on the rise. I hope to hell she gets Skylar's votes and they knock Chez out of the box, next week. That would be so darn awesome.
I want Josh in the finals. I think he deserves it. I have to see P2 next week to see whether I still want him there. My prediction from day 1 was a Josh and P2 final, but I don't know if Josh has the fan base to get him there.
AI wants a girl/boy final in the worst way and AI wants a girl to win. They think the best bet is Chez. They could have used that save for Skylar tonight. Last night to save, I think. What a waste.
I'm angry.
I want Josh in the finals. I think he deserves it. I have to see P2 next week to see whether I still want him there. My prediction from day 1 was a Josh and P2 final, but I don't know if Josh has the fan base to get him there.

I have a question. Where are all those country fans at this year who kept voting for Scottie & Lauren last year? I just don't get it. Do people no longer like country? Or is it because Skylar is true country, and people just don't like that kind of country anymore?

Would be amazing. She is likely to get a lot of the Skylar vote but a good portion of Skylar's fanbase is a country only group. Not sure how many stick around to vote but any bit helps Hollie imo. She still is a long shot for the finale. But there is hope at least for me.

I would like Josh in there over Phillip at this point but if it is either or, Phillip's fan base >>>>>>> Josh. Thats all that matters is the votes at this point. If Phillip's fans show, it is over for any one else.

Spot on. Top 5 would be the last save opportunity. I think it would be horrible if a "saved" contestant wins. It ruins the spirit of the show imo. I can go into a long long rant about that which I have already in another place but I will save yall right now.

I think there was a backlash because of the two country singer finale last year by the voting public who isn't into that style of music. I think the country vote was there. But people who do not like country are voting at a bigger clip right now. Apparently, this season has spurred record voting at this point. Helps that there is online and text votes. That adds up quick and is easy to do.

As you know, I despise the save and you gave a very good reason why it shouldn't be there. A saved person winning would be bad news. I've been disappointed in the show this season, mostly the judges. The talent has been pretty darn good. I still like it better than the Voice.
I've tried watching the Voice, this season, but I couldn't tell you the name of a single soul in the final 4. I usually watch the tape the day after or watch it on demand. I don't think I'll watch it next season. Conflicts with too many of my Monday night shows, anyway.
I really liked the X-Factor, but I don't know that I can tolerate watching Brittany Spears for an entire season. I liked watching Simon again. Maybe he will balance her out, but I've thought about not bothering with it. I'd rather see Paula and Simon act stupid than Brittany.

She wants to sing country. She couldn't do that all the time on this show, but she pulled off the other genres very well, IMO.
