The comments he made to Ledet about the dancer were awkward.

Yea, Josh was like , me thinks he's not interested.

Btw, I'm a Hollie fan as well. They seem to unnecessarily criticize her sometimes, at least it seems that way to me.

Also a Jessica fan, hope she doesn't go home....eyez gunna vote now.

This is the main reason for my hate rage for the judges just in case you aren't familiar with my Hollie rants in this thread

I am not. Haven't read this thread much this year. Are you a Hollie fan?

Would LOVE to see Jessica and Joshua gone next week and see Hollie and Elise in the final. Just cause.

I don't want Joshua to go. The boy needs a good job and I like him.

The judges love Elise. They would have used the save for her last week. They made that clear. I was hoping she was booted last week to get that save out of the way. She should be worried, now, though. She could go next week.

I wish they didn't have the save at all.

Huge fan. I have been going strong with my Hollie support all season in this thread.

I also have a school boy-like crush on her.

He seems like a nice guy.. but his voice gets on my nerves. He yells too much and every song is churchy. The next week..Phillip can go. He's a nice guy too..but everyyyyy song is the same.

Honestly, at this point I really can't guess who will be in the final. Usually we have a pretty good idea around this time. Im just having a hard time picking who I think will get there and distinguishing from who I want.

That is also adding to make this season pretty interesting. Pretty much any of them can win it.

Ahh...you must have been the one to keep her safe by voting for her.

I think she has a good voice, but she's never drawn me in. I think she would have been better off waiting a year. I think she can sing, but I don't think she's the whole package yet. I feel the same way about Jessica, but I like Hollie more than Jessica.

I'm a Skylar fan as far as the girls are concerned and I have a cougar crush on Phillip Squared.

Well, if they make the top 2 and I think it depends on who is in it. If it's Hollie and Colton, for example, Hollie wouldn't stand a chance. At least, I don't think so. If it's Hollie and Jessica, Hollie takes it, not necessarily by talent. I just think she'd get more votes.

Not as interesting to me, right now, because of my suspicions that manipulation will take place.

I not going to lie. I voted for her a lot last night through online voting. My friends were texting me after the show telling me that I personally put her through and helped her avoid the bottom three. They give me a lot of crap for my American Idol interest, yet they are tuning in now

Whats interesting about your comment on waiting a year is that she tried out last year and made it to Hollywood week and to the final 42 but they didn't feel she was ready. So she tried out again this year and they put her on this season.

Skylar has really been impressing me a lot lately. I am a country fan. I think she has promise.

Yeah, I knew this was Hollie's second go round, but I thought she still needed one more year to blossom. I was hoping she would come out more as the weeks went on, but she just hasn't done it for me. She's such a cute sweet girl, though.

Your Mom has good taste.

Jessica has a likability problem when it comes to votes as this season winds down. I think she has a built in fan base but I think she will have a hard time getting votes from the others that leave the show. Just reading opinions on various blogs and talking to people, Jessica is basically a you either like her or not contestant on idol. Will be interesting to see what happens next week with her. Like I said before, I think tonight will hurt her because of what the judges did.

She is trying stuff that she isn't as strong at. She is a ballad singer. That is her strength. SHe needs to roll with a power ballad again very soon to get back some momentum.

I know people get bored with only ballads but I believe you need to do what you do best, if not and you try something that isn't you, you will just be average and will leave the show.

She has some cool videos of herself covering Adele songs and Carrie Underwood on you tube. She sounds great on them and you can tell that the videos are a little older. The talent is there.

I agree with this.

I have a likability problem with Elise. I don't like her. Something about her bothers me. She's talented, but not close to Hollie or Jessica, in my opinion. She has some moments, but not enough of them. She was gawd awful last week and I didn't like her, last night.

I think jessica and philip both need to go. I am tired of her diva alter ego and i am tired of philip's hard headedness. I want humble people to win. Philip lost me last week when he saidhe wasn't trying to grab fans hands and stuff. i started out liking them a lot, but the thrill is gone

Maybe that's why she doesn't seem to feel the songs. That's the problem I have with her. She can sing, but she more into the notes than the entire performance. I think that could be her youth.

I hate the alter ego stuff.

I thought that was an extremely dumb thing to say. He flat out said that he really doesn't care about the fans.

I think he's still humble and I don't think it's in his personality to run around the stage and touch hands. It's not for everyone. It would be contrived for him to do that. He actually addressed that on his facebook page and apologized if he offended anyone.

I think he's a might too humble and that's exactly why he doesn't feel like he can "act like a star". It might come to him over time, but it's not like he's been performing on a national stage for years. This guy is small town and somewhat shy.

She was awesome early on when she sung "reflection", "All the man that I need" and "power of love". The judges started telling her to start changing it up a bit. Then there was Billy joel week where she had a rough time with "honesty", then i liked "jesus take the wheel" because it was more her style. The "what a feeling" was a little rough. She definitely was uncomfortable. I though this week's "perfect" was actually a pretty good performance. SHe was tight though and I agree with you, she is more concentrated on notes than feeling the song. I just think she needs to go back to a power ballad.

ETA: This was all done on memory so feel free to correct me if I am off with any of this info
