I haven't seen it yet... is there enough movie without her in it for an enjoyable experience? Like if I were to fast forward through her parts, would it still make sense?

With production studios absolutely terrified of green lighting original movies, it stands to reason at some point they'll try and milk this again.

I am generally in favor of more content if you can make it without 'ruining' the story of the originals, and I think you can with Indy. Especially if you go the son, nephew, or student route. The problem there is that you need a handoff movie because they want to get people in with the famous title, or you have to do one of those clunky titles like "The Final Crusade: an Indiana Jones movie" or something.
