I'm very excited about this but the timing is all wrong

You want this to peak around Halloween, not just get going. This should have came out in September.

how heavily they do or do not lean into the plight of the poor black man in 1960s Maine will make or break this show to me. it was definitely a minor subplot / story in the book, so it's relevant. but if that's like a major part of this show, then...ugh.
