So over the course of this summer I watched CYE and was largely underwhelmed by it. I know that I'm in the minority and accept that I'm not "cool" because of it, but I just couldn't really relate to the show. I did love Leon, though. I've also never really watched Seinfeld, but I assume it's more of the same. I guess I have no idea why I'm in this thread except to say I'm not interested in a Larry David film and I need to GTFO

Did you start from season 1? Leon is pretty overrated IMO, and the season when the Blacks make their first appearance was maybe the worst season. Seasons 1-4 and the most recent one (7?) were amazing. One or two of the seasons were pretty bad, though. Posted on 9/15/12 at 2:00 am to THRILLHO
Watched straight through. I just can't relate to LD. He's just not a real person to me

Fair enough. Personally (and many others agree), he's as real of a person as can be, he simply says what everyone is typically too uncomfortable to say. If you've watched 5+ seasons and never felt "holy shite, people are so offended by what he's saying, but that's EXACTLY what I would want to say in that situation", then you and I probably don't have anything in common.

Leon is far from overrated. He's the second funniest character on the show.
