The tribes in the fight were the Cherusci, Marsi, Chatti, Bructeri, Chauci, and the Sicambri.

There are 45 other known tribes at that time.

Thusnelda's father was the Cheruscan prince Segestes.

Watch it Dubbed or in German?

Tried watching it dubbed and hated it. The voices don't match big scruffy barbarians on screen

Much better with subtitles imo.

2 episodes in and its so eerily similar to Last Kingdom down to the actual sets

I thought it was excellent. The first season is better than Last Kindom's first season and LK is one of my favorite shows.

The main actress is gorgeous.

I’ll definitely check this out.

I loved Vikings. I’m currently watching TLK. This will be next.

Bump. This show is awesome. The final episode was wild as hell . Interesting to see where season two goes.

I watched it a few weeks ago.

Loved it.

Especially hearing Latin spoken. I took Latin in high school and haven’t heard it spoken in movies.

Speaking of German TV, has anyone seen Oktoberfest: Beer and Blood on Netflix? It was based on true stuff and was really good. I watched a German film on Netflix last night called ‘Stereo’ that was pretty good too.

I've read more than one latin/Roman nerd's opinion at how authentic and close to perfect the latin spoken is.
