Neon Boudeaux, Butch McRae, and Ricky Roe: what if scenario

Petey doesnt blow the whistle on himself...
Are they undoubtedly a Final Four and potential NCAA champ?
Does Ricky Roe get them caught by bragging in an attempt to seal the deal with a co-ed?

Butch allegedly still wants to transfer, even after the Indiana win

I think they make it to back to back NCAA final games, but never win the big one. They never win a conference championship, they never beat the top ACC programs that put their team together "the right way", they probably even have some kind of a meltdown during the second final game and blow the game with a mental mistake. Probably a few years after they all leave school the NCAA finds out and strips the school of all of their Final Four banners.

I think they would have ended up eerily similar to Michigan in '92-'93. Neon would have thrown the ball to the wrong guy or something or maybe even dunk on the wrong goal. McRae was too soft to be a champion. Roe was all about his own stats. Tony was not part of them, so his success would have been defined by himself as "How many points can I score if I do not give any of them the ball." Or, Tony would have complained and dropped out and went over to Europe to play ball (which I believe is whjat he did right? After the season? And he was a senior, too, correct?)

My money is on them fizzling out too, dont think they get past the final 4 at best.

Al Bundy was just too nosey. He would have totally smashed them up had Petey not gone ahead and done it himself.
I think they would have made it to Final 4 also...maybe lose to the Rick Pitino-led team in a rematch.

I would, he had 2 rings and I think he just got burned out with his shitty teams (caused by not paying up in recruiting)
Possible that Im blinded by the passion he showed in the Indiana game
I think youre right about Neon likely being the only one left and the team underachieving though.
